The creation of the St. Hugh-Steinway Concert Series in 2011 was the joint vision of Pastor Fr. Federico Capdepón and Music Director Roberto Berrocal. Their goals were to build and inspire the community through music, and to help fund charities of St. Hugh.
The series presents some of the finest voices and instrumentalists of our time in four concerts each year from September through May. With marvelous acoustics and an intimate 400 seats, St. Hugh is now a beautiful concert venue in Coconut Grove.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a Catholic lay organization offering person-to-person help to those who are needy and suffering. When a needy person calls the parish for help, their call is referred to a society member who visits the family and assess how the parish can help.
The Grove Outreach is a ministry that seeks to help the less fortunate in our neighborhood. It has served as a food bank in Coconut Grove for the past 24 years.
Mindo Futures is a non-profit organization which supports three educational and health delivery programs, mostly in Ecuador: Miracle of Mindo, La Chia Students and the Medical Mission.
The mission is to draw attention to Ghana’s unsafe and inadequate water supplies, and to raise funds for wells and other innovative solutions that enable communities solve their water supply problems.
